Meet the founder

Talisha Bowmar Design© is a trusted partner for Māori-owned and wāhine-led brands, providing Te Aka Mentor and Creative Service sessions through MWDI.

As a Te Aka Mentor for Māori Women’s Development Inc, I provide funded design mahi including branding, logos and social media templates and more to help Māori startups and pakihi flourish. I am deeply passionate about the growth of Māori startups, Iwi and community projects.

After returning to Aotearoa for a simpler lifestyle in Te Tai Tokerau, I have recently expanded my presence into Central Otago. Operating as a digital-first studio allows TB© to bridge the gap between these regions, spending summers in the Far North and the rest of the year in the South. Whether via Zoom from Alexandra, Cromwell or the Lakes District, or in the summer sun of Cable Bay and Kaitaia, I provide a culturally connected service to pakihi nationwide across Aotearoa New Zealand.
